AUTISM is a neurological disorder that can impair social interaction and communication and affects 1 in 110 children, 1 in 70 boys.

As I do, you may know a child who is affected by this. I want to help make a difference and increase awareness. So, I decided to host a golf outing fund raiser with proceeds to benefit the Chicagoland Chapter of AUTISM SPEAKS and other local organizations who help families deal with this disorder.

You can show your support by golfing, making a donation, sponsoring a hole or spreading the word. Any monetary donation, great or small, is welcome and greatly appreciated.

Some suggested donations for the silent auction, prizes and fund raiser include:

* Gift certificates
* Monetary
* Tickets to sporting events, concerts, and other events
* Golf Items
* Liquor
* Event Sponsorship ($500)
* Hole sponsorship ($125)
* Golf participation ($105 per golfer)
